He subsequently gained extensive experience   providing therapy to children, adults, and families at Children’s Hospital Center for Child Protection.  Mr. Tammariello also coordinated a court education program  for child victims that became a model program in the U.S.   Later he helped to establish a day treatment program for trauma reactive teens in the North County where he applied his trauma expertise by supervising treatment staff and by providing intensive, structured treatment to teens. LeAnna Aubel, MA, LMFT, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, has worked as a psychotherapist for over 20 years. She graduated with a BA in Psychology from Cal State San Bernardino and a MA in Psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy from Chapman University. LeAnna began her clinical training in 1994 as a hotline responder with the Riverside Area Rape Crises Center providing crisis interventions, advocacy and counseling. LeAnna’s experience with advocacy and intensive treatment with teens in the juvenile court system enabled her to work as a patient advocate, helping those detained involuntarily at the San Bernardino County’s Mental Health and later with high risk female inmates at the California Institution for Women.
LeAnna’s dedication to expand her knowledge and experience led her to work as a counselor for Redlands Counseling Center and as a supervising social worker for Trinity Children and Family Services where she became adept at helping couples, adults, adolescents, and children.  She was involved in the creation of  a specialized prevention program, CHOICE! At Catholic Charities designed to help individuals at risk for drinking and drug related problems.  LeAnna exemplified her continued interest in substance abuse at Knollwood Psychiatric and Chemical Dependency Center in Riverside, CA. She worked with multi-disciplinary treatment teams on the detoxification unit, inpatient psychiatric unit, and partial hospitalization programs. All these experiences gained her the position as adjunct instructor for Sage College educating first and second year paralegal students on the subject of psychology and marriage and family therapy.

In  2007  she began her specialization into evidence-based treatment while working with at-risk youths in Riverside County’s Department of Mental Health.  Her advanced training provided by The Beck Institute has contributed to her exceptional understanding of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and evidence-based treatments.

Since 2011 LeAnna served as an Intensive Outpatient Therapist with Tri-City’s Behavioral Health Program running evidence-based treatment groups for adults dealing with mood disorders, substance use, anxiety and symptoms of psychosis. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Services is fortunate to have LeAnna running its treatment groups and providing individual therapy.
